Sick Policy!
Parents
agree to keep their children home and seek alternate care for the
following conditions. This list is not all exclusive.
- Pain - any complaints of unexplained or undiagnosed pain
- Fever (100°F/38.3°C or higher); Child must be fever free for 24 hours WITHOUT the aid of medications before returning to daycare
- Sore throat that causes trouble swallowing
- Headache or stiff neck
- Unexplained diarrhea or loose stool combined with nausea, vomiting or abdominal cramps. The child will be kept at home until all symptoms have stopped.
- Diarrhea not able to be contained in a diaper or if the child cannot keep from soiling their underclothes
- Nausea or vomiting
- Severe itching of body and scalp
- Known or suspected communicable diseases
